Booking Terms & Conditions 1. CONTRACT. A binding contract between the hirer and Mr & Mrs Esdaile has been entered into which is confirmed on receipt of the deposit or full payment if the holiday booked less than 42 days from commencement.
2. PAYMENT. A non-returnable deposit of £75 is required on booking. The balance shall be payable 42 days before the commencement of the holiday. Payment in full is required if the holiday is booked less than 42 days from its commencement. Mr & Mrs Esdaile reserve the right to cancel a holiday where full payment has not been paid by the date due.
3. CANCELLATION. A cancellation may be made at any time in writing to Mr & Mrs Esdaile. The deposit will be retained together with an additional charge as set out below; unless Mr & Mrs Esdaile have been successful in re-letting the holiday.
4. OCCUPANCY. The number of persons occupying the property will not exceed web site description and two babies (under 30 months).
5. BASIS OF OCCUPATION. Tenancies commence from 3.00 p.m. on the date of arrival and terminate at 10.00 a.m. on the date of departure. The property is occupied strictly on a holiday basis and no right to remain in the accommodation exists in the hirer or any person allowed into the property by him/her. The hirer will be liable for any costs incurred as a result of any delayed departure. Mr & Mrs Esdaile has the right of access to the property at any reasonable time.
6. BREAKAGES. The hirer agrees to maintain and leave the property clean and tidy. Breakages, damage will be paid for by the hirer. Or any telephone costs incurred by the hirer.
7. LIMITS OF LIABILITY. Mr & Mrs Esdaile will not be liable for damage or injury to property or person other than resulting from their own negligence.
8. SHOULD THE PROPERTY become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control an alternative property will be offered subject to availability or full refund. 9. IN THE UNFORTUNATE SITUATION, where there is a complaint, please give us the opportunity to investigate the matter by calling 01797 222614 In NO circumstances will compensation be made for complaints raised after the holiday has ended with the visitor denying the company the opportunity to investigate and endeavouring to put the matters right during the holiday.
